On April 24 and 25 MGIMO-University, Lomonosov Moscow State University,Peoples´Friendship University of Russia and MISiS university hosted the Global University Summit, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. Famous statesmen and public figures, Rectors of universities and research centers, international organizations and economic circles discussed urgent issues of the global agenda and the problems of education and science.

During the press conference in ITAR-TASS, rector of MGIMO-University A. Torkunov has announced the section "Business for education. Education for business," which will take place on the margins of the Global University Summit.
The section aims to discuss the experience of mutually beneficial cooperation between universities, government organizations and commercial structures.
Among the participants are partners of MGIMO-University, Russian and foreign experts in the field of fundraising, including heads of the leading U.S., European and Russian endowments, rectors and directors of business schools.
Moderator: D. Yusov , executive director of MGIMO Endowment.
The discussion will be followed by the Organizational meeting of the Association of University endowments.
